Groundwater protection grant case files, 1978-[ongoing].

As part of its mandate to protect drinking water supplies in Massachusetts, the Division of Water Supply monitors groundwater withdrawals as required by the Federal Water Pollution Control Act (Acts of 1948, c 758, as amended, s 106), and administers grant programs available to public water suppliers through ss 205(j) and 208. Series is created to implement groundwater protection and cleanup programs and to support technical and assistance grants.
